7 Easy Lessons in Meditation

It may be the most audacious undertaking to make the decision to enroll in College. It is all encompassing, including long term mixed with short term goals and daily responsibilities. It is not a decision to take lightly or without much thought. It is a time of uncertainty, an assessment of self, asking such questions as are my capabilities such that I can excel and achieve my goal. With family it is much harder; for it is paramount that all members are committed to the long term goal and supportive throughout the journey.

 

Relax, for I know of no one that has the tools needed, or the capabilities required to achieve excellence in your academic endeavors. It is truly a leap of faith and the wonderful idea that as you go through the process you acquire the disciplines needed to restructure and heighten your capabilities. College is a transforming event. Raising your awareness and challenging your most deep rooted beliefs and thoughts and by so doing creates fundamental changes in you, your thinking, and your emotions.

 

You will begin to realize that all possibilities are possible because you are now achieving what at first you may have thought impossible.

 

Addressing Online College and many mirrored stories of inspiration. Through the online collage I am attending there are many single mothers who are in class with me, some with as many as three children.

 

They work full time, take care of their children, and achieve excellence in school. I am a father of six children and I understand the myriad of responsibilities taking care of them. I have been much inspired by these fine mothers who are forging a better life for their children and the sacrifice that it takes. They networked a support team with grandparents and close trusted friends in helping with the needs of their children so the can obtain the impossible.

 

This has compelled me to start a discussion board here to address how we can combat stress, take care of our own needs when we are spread so thin with the commitment of higher education. We will delve into meditation to achieve true relaxation and build faith that is continually required as we approach each new course.

 

We will introduce disciplines that create a good lifestyle that keep you mentally and physically alert ready to tackle any given phase of the day. We desire and applaud any suggestions from others to bring as many mind in on this topic.
